General and Artistic Director, New Rochelle Opera
Hailed as a “conductor to watch” by Symphony Magazine and praised by The Huffington Post for his “Italianate passion,” Maestro Jason C. Tramm brings a dynamic and expressive energy to the podium that has earned him recognition across the United States and abroad.
A versatile artist celebrated for his work in opera, symphonic, and choral repertoire, Maestro Tramm was appointed General and Artistic Director of New Rochelle Opera in 2025, joining the company as it celebrates over 40 years of bringing world-class opera to the community. He is honored to continue the legacy of founders Camille Coppola and Billie Tucker while ushering in a new era of artistic excellence and community engagement.
In addition to his leadership with New Rochelle Opera, Maestro Tramm serves as Executive Director of Light Opera of New Jersey, Music Director of the Taghkanic Chorale and Putnam Chorale, and Artistic Director and Principal Conductor of MidAtlantic Artistic Productions, with whom he made his Carnegie Hall debut in 2015.
